No fructose is infact beneficial for the people with diabetes.there was a research done were the blood was tested with fructose the sugar level was just 106.

yes if u consume any sugar too much it affects your taste buds and harm your salivary content ratio which lead to indigestion and brain functioning also affects .
Fruits are not harmful. Even if you observe from neutral point of view you will see that even a layman don't need a doctor to get things straight. just look at animals do they get fat, obese, diabetic ? no very very rare. Why ? coz they eat raw food mostly grass and crops which have high water content and more fibres which make less hungry and retain water. while we plunge on refined and delicious fruit which is very rich in sugar. Banana has pretty high content of carbohydrates but if you strictly survive on banana you will be slim n healthy and free of fat.

there is an urgent need to reduce our sugar consumption ... and in doing so i have given up artificial processed sugar..instead we should use honey and deshi jaggery...

Sugar isn't that bad as it seems infact our brain and body run on sugar. The main problem lies in our lifestyle if eat sugar and don't do physical work then it's a big problem it same as consuming huge protein content but not hitting the gym. if you aren't actively involve in physical work then avoid taking fat and sugar rich diets. The more refined food we eat the more dangerous it gets as refining process adds more energy to it. that's why raw sugar is better like jiggery, sugarcane etc

You r right but it is also true, that dedication for physical activities are must...As the increasing sugar level may also cause laziness...Same as the things happens after consuming alcohol...The active part of brain goes to sleeping condition which results increased laziness in one's mind... overall conclusion: बुद्धि भ्रष्ट होकर इंसान Senseless (विवेक-शून्य) हो जाता है। ????

stupid article, sugar intake is only harmful if your lifestyle is sedentary, else it is part of our diet and refraining from consuming sugar is foolishness. I hope you will do your research before comparing it with alcohol.
