Indian Navy Recruitment 2022 Notification - Apply for 127 Pharmacist, Fireman & Pest Control Posts
The Indian Navy has announced vacancies for three positions: Pharmacist, Fireman, and Pest Control Worker. From the date of publication until the date of advertisement, interested and qualified applicants have 60 days (until June 26, 2022) to apply for the positions via the prescribed format.

Indian Navy Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Pharmacist – passed a recognised Board’s 10th exam.
Fireman – 10th grade diploma from a recognised board; must be physically fit and capable of performing difficult work, as well as pass the following tests:
Standard for Physical Fitness:
- Without shoes, height 165 cm, provided that members of the IST are given a 2.5 cm height allowance.
- 81.5 cm (unexpanded) chest
- 85 cm chest (upon expansion)
- Weight: 50 kg (minimum)
- Worker in Pest Control (Erstwhile Begary) – Completion of the 10th grade from a recognised board; ability to read and speak Hindi/Regional Language.
Age Limit:
The applicant must not be above 56 years of age.
Indian Navy Recruitment 2022: Selection Process
There are three stages to the selection process for the vacancies announced by the Indian Navy:
Physical Fitness Test:
All qualifying candidates for the position of Fireman must pass a physical fitness test that meets the requirements. The exact day, time, and location will be mailed or posted to all qualifying candidates.
Provisional Appointment Letter:
Provisionally chosen applicants shall be appointed exclusively on the basis of merit based on performance/assessment, subject to Document Verification, Medical Examination, and other requirements as stated by the Government of India and the Appointing Authority.
Document Verification:
As per current DOPT policy, all necessary papers regarding age, education, identification, address, category, caste, and service will be reviewed and validated prior to provisional appointment. The provisionally selected candidates will be notified of the date and location for document verification via their registered email addresses or by mail.
How to Apply for Indian Navy Vacancy 2022
Step 1: The application must be written on plain paper, either handwritten or printed, and must be accompanied with a recent passport-size colour photograph that has been self-attested. The application format can be accessed from the below notification link.

Step 2: Mention the name of the post and the address, clearly on the top of the envelope.
Step 3: The application must be filed within 60 days after the advertisement’s publication in the employment newspaper.
Step 4: Post the application to the following address:
