CSIR UGC NET is a nationwide test administered by the National Examination Council (NTA) for applicants interested in pursuing a Junior Research Scholarship (JRF) or a Lectureship (LS) as a career.

NTA CSIR UGC NET is held twice a year in five studies: Biosciences, Theoretical Physics, Chemistry Science courses, Environmental Science, and Mathematical Sciences. Candidates who pass the CSIR NET JRF are only qualified to become educators in Science and Technology topics.

According to the most recent announcement, the registration window for the CSIR NET June 2022 examination Registration Form is now open. The application deadline is August 10, 2022. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is a modern R&D agency noted for its cutting-edge R&D knowledge base in several S&T domains.

Oceanography, geophysics, chemicals, medicines, genomics, biotechnology, and nanotechnology are all covered by CSIR, as are aeronautics, instrumentation, mining,  environmental science, and information technology. It offers considerable technology involvement in many social initiatives, including the ecosystem, healthcare, drinkable water, nutrition, shelter, power, farming and non-farm sectors. Furthermore, the CSIR’s contribution in S&T development of human resources is notable.

CSIR and UGC offer Research Scholarship opportunities for training in research methodologies under the professional direction of academic members/scientists operating in university departments, national laboratories, and institutions in a variety of scientific subjects.

The CSIR-UGC NET Internship program aims to develop national science and technology human resources. CSIR awards a considerable number of JRFs each year to individuals who pass the CSIR Test, which is held two times a year in June and December.
