An entrance exam is conducted by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, for admissions to undergraduate engineering courses (BE) at its three campuses located at Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. This entrance exam is called Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT). Around 3 lakh students apply for this exam every year and the exam is conducted online. The candidates are offered with admissions to BE, BPharm and MSc programs.
BITSAT Application form 2022
- From 14th March 2022 the application form for BITSAT 2022 was released specifically through online mode.
- Each candidate has to confirm their eligibility before applying for the BITSAT examination.
- Candidates must fill the application form very carefully, however, the authority will also provide full support to fill up the application form.
- The application form has commenced from 8th to 12th June 2022.

BITSAT 2022 - Application Process
The application process for the BITSAT 2022 exam is-
- Registration- The candidates have to first register themselves by providing the mail ID and mobile number, for further communication.
- Filling out the form- The candidates need to enter their personal, communication and academic details in the online BITSAT 2022 application form. They must select the correct exam centres.
- Uploading of documents- The aspirants have to upload scanned images of photographs and signatures in the prescribed format.
- Payment of application fee- The students need to pay the BITSAT 2022 application fee online using net banking, credit, debit cards or UPI.
- Submission of the BITSAT application form- Students needs to submit the form after checking all the details and documents they have entered.
BITSAT 2022 - Eligibility Criteria
Criteria for the First-Degree programmes of BITS except for BPharm (Hons)
- Should have passed the class 12th examination from a recognised Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates must have adequate proficiency in English.
- A minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects.
Criteria for the BPharm (Hons):
- Candidates have passed the class 12th examination from a recognised Central or State board or its equivalent with the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Candidates must have adequate proficiency in English. Students from PCMB backgrounds from Class 12 can also apply for the Pharmacy programme at BITS campuses.
- Candidate must have a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (and Maths, if they are PCMB students) subjects with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and Maths.
