The GATE test for Graduate Aptitude in Engineering is a nationwide Engineering Entrance Examination where 100s of thousands students every year submit their applications to take an exam to gain admission into highly regarded universities such as IIT, NIT, IISc and job opportunities with Public Sector Companies (PSU). Exam Date for GATE 2025 (Confirmed)
There will be four days of GATE 2025 online exams, as well as multiple examination sessions in a single day.

All exam days will contain two sessions - Forenoon (FN) and Afternoon (AN) - and GATE papers in CS, ME, EE, EC, CE, DA and Alt will be scheduled for these exam periods.
GATE 2025 Updates for Exam Centres (Prayagraj to Lucknow)
Due to the Mahakumbh in 2025, IIT Roorkee has provided the following important update regarding GATE exam centres:
Latest GATE 2025 Notifications:
9 February 2025: GATE candidates who were assigned Prayagraj exam centres on 15 & 16 February will be relocated to an exam centre in Lucknow.
28 January 2025: GATE candidates who are scheduled to take the exam in Prayagraj on 1 & 2 February 2025 will now have to change their venue and take the exam at a centre in Lucknow.
Candidates will be required to download a new GATE 2025 admit card from the GOAPS portal reflecting the updated exam centre details.
