GATE 2024: Exam Date, Notification, Registration, Syllabus
GATE 2024 will be led by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. GATE is the abbreviation of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. It is conducted annually by one of the seven IITs in India on a rotating basis. Candidates applying for a Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Engineering (ME) and Ph.D. Applying for the GATE exam can be done online.
GATE 2024 will be held for a total of 29 papers. It will be a computer-based test (CBT), which is an online mode. GATE exam questions will include multiple-choice (MCQ), multiple-choice (MSQ), and numerical-response (NAT) questions. GATE 2024 Overview
The GATE 2024 notification is expected to be released in the last week of July 2023. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements can register for the exam by completing the application form. The GATE 2024 exam will be conducted in two phases in the first week of February 2024. Admit Cards will be issued to eligible candidates to take the exam.

GATE 2024 Exam Pattern
The GATE 2024 exam pattern consists of Multiple Choice Questions, Numerical Answer Types and Multiple Select Questions. There will be a negative marking in the MCQs while there won’t be any negative marking in the NATs. Check the below-provided GATE 2024 exam pattern from the table –
