We have been taught the English alphabet, so let us test our knowledge on them. Get your thinking cap and try these alphabet series questions.

Alphabet series refers to a group of letters that are arranged in a line or to form puzzles or sequences.

Today we will be testing ourselves on a worksheet. The questions are all in the English alphabet. They are also called alphabet series questions.

Many times a lot of games or codes can be made out of these letters so let us try them out. Before we go into that, however, here is a quick recap to refresh our memories.

There are 26 letters in the English alphabet. Out of the 26 letters, 5 are vowels and the remaining 21 are consonants. The vowels are: A, E, I, O, and U. Here is a table of the alphabet in uppercase and lowercase (capital and small letters) and their number notations.

The number notations are used for alphabet series in reasoning. They can also be used in making codes and puzzles.

Below are questions on alphabet series in reasoning. They are divided into sections. Each section has an example and instructions that explain the code of the alphabet series. With your understanding of the example, you will answer the questions that follow. This is the alphabet series MCQ.

What is the tenth letter from the letter E?

The correct answer is option B. The reason is that letter E is the fifth letter of the alphabet. If you use the chart below to count 10 more letters, you will stop at O. Another way to do it is to add 10 to the number equivalent to E. The number equivalent to E is 5. 5 plus 10 equals 15. The 15th letter of the alphabet is O.
