Sub triplicate ratio

Sub triplicate ratio is one of the concepts in ratios. Sub triplicate ratio is defined as the cube roots of the given ratios. For example, the sub triplicate ratio of 8: 27 is 2:3.

Introduction:

Ratios include a wide range of topics. Because there are so many formulas and concepts to memorize, the ratios concept is a little challenging. One of these is the subtriplicate ratio notion.

Now, before we go into the concept of the subtriplicate ratio or dive into the details of the subtriplicate ratio, let’s define the triplicate ratio.

Triplicate ratio:

When three types of equal ratios are multiplied, the result is a triplicate ratio.

The triple ratio of s/t, for example, is s3/t3.

Other phrases might be used to define the threefold ratio.

A Triplicate ratio refers to a compound ratio made up of three identical ratios.

It can be written as s:t and s:t and s:t is s3/t3.

What is a sub-triplicate ratio, and what does it mean?

The cube root of two or more ratios is referred to as a subtriplicate ratio.

In triplicate ratio, the subtriplicate ratio is a concept.

Both the triple and compound ratios are used in the subtriplicate ratio.

How do you calculate the ratio of sub triplicates?

Based on the question they provided, a subtriplicate ratio can be determined. If the question asks us to find the subtriplicate ratio directly (for example, Find the subtriplicate ratio of the following?  ), we’ll use cube root to solve it.

Otherwise, if the question instructs you to solve the subtriplicate ratio indirectly, for example, determine the triplicate ratio of the following and predict what the subtriplicate ratio will be. Then we’ll calculate the triplicate ratio of the supplied question before calculating the subtriplicate ratio.

Sub-triplicate ratio formulas

Sub triplicate, as previously stated, employs the cube root function. The cube roots of the following terms can be used to solve sub triplicate.

  •                    a : b =∛a:∛b

Now let us look into some examples to clearly explain and understand what is meant by sub triplicate ratio.

Examples of sub triplicate ratio

Example 1

Find the sub triplicate ratio of 64:216?

Solution

Hint: Sub triplicate ratio can be calculated by using the concepts of ratios.

Formula used:

To find sub triplicate ratio we will use formula a: b =∛a:∛b

Here in the above given problem, Let us consider the terms a as 64 and b as 216

The cube root of 64 is 4

And the cube root of 216 is 6.

Therefore, sub triplicate ratio of 64: 216 is

  • ∛64:∛216

  • 4:6

  • 2:3

Hence the sub duplicate ratio of 64: 216 is 2: 3.

Example 2

Find the sub triplicate ratio of 3375:4096?

Solution

Hint: Sub triplicate ratio can be calculated by using the concepts of ratios.

Formula used:

To find sub triplicate ratio we will use formula a: b =∛a:∛b

Here in the above given problem, Let us consider the terms a as 3375 and b as 4096

The cube root of 3375 is 15

And the cube root of 4096 is 16.

Therefore, sub triplicate ratio of 3375: 4096 is

  • 33375:34096

  • 15:16

Hence sub triplicate ratio of 3375: 4096 is 15:16.

For composite numbers, finding the cube root and sub triplicate is simple. Let’s look at prime numbers and see what the sub triplicate ratio is.

Example 3

Find the sub triplicate ratio of 17:29?

Solution

Hint: Sub triplicate ratio can be calculated by using the concepts of ratios.

Formula used:

To find sub triplicate ratio we will use formula a: b =∛a:∛b

Here in the above given problem, Let us consider the terms a as 17 and b as 29

Both 17 and 29 are prime numbers and their cube root will be in decimal form.

The cube root of 17 is 2.571

And the cube root of 29 is 3.07.

Therefore, sub triplicate ratio of 17: 29 is

  • ∛17:∛19

  • 2.571: 3.078

  • Hence the sub triplicate ratio of 17: 19 is 2.571: 3.078

So far now have seen with two terms

Now let us seem more than two terms,

  • To find sub triplicate ratio we will use formula a: b =∛a:∛b

  • To find sub triplicate ratio we will use formula a: b:c =3a:3b: ∛c

  • To find sub triplicate ratio we will use formula a: b:c:d =3a:3b: 3c:∛d

  • For multiple terms the sub triplicate ratio of a: b: c: d:…. Is 3a:3b: 3c:∛d

Example 3

Find the sub duplicate ratio of 1000:8000:27000?

Solution

Hint: Sub triplicate ratio can be calculated by using the concepts of ratios.

Formula used:

  • To find sub triplicate ratio we will use formula a: b:c =3a:3b: ∛c

Here in the above given problem, Let us consider the terms a as 1000 and b as 8000 and c as 27000

The cube root of 1000 is 10

And the cube root of 8000 is 20.

And the cube root of 27000 is 30.

Therefore, sub triplicate ratio of 1000:8000:27000 is

  • 31000:38000: ∛27000

  • 10:20:30

  • 1:2:3

  • Hence the sub triplicate ratio of 1000: 8000:27000 is 1:2:3.

Example 4

The sub triplicate ratio of 125:216 is 5: x, Find the term x?

Solution

Hint: Sub triplicate ratio can be calculated by using the concepts of ratios.

Formula used:

To find sub triplicate ratio we will use formula a: b =3a:3b:

Here in the above given problem, Let us consider the terms a as 125 and b as 216 and ∛a  is 5

The cube root of 125 is 5

And the cube root of 216 is 6.

Therefore, sub triplicate ratio of 125: 216 is

  • =3125:3216

  • 5:6

Hence the sub triplicate ratio of 125: 216  is 5:6.

Therefore, x is 6

 Conclusion

The subtopic of triplicate ratio is sub triplicate ratio. When there are three or more ratios, or when there are three or more triplicate ratios, and the cube roots of their ratios are evaluated, the sub triplicate ratio is considered. We all know that triple means three. So in sub triplicate ratio we will perform cube roots to the given problem. To find sub triplicate ratio we will use formula a: b:c =3a:3b: 3c. To find sub triplicate ratio we will use formula a: b:c:d =3a:3b: 3c:∛d. For multiple terms the sub triplicate ratio of a: b: c: d:…. Is 3a:3b: 3c:∛d
