IBPS PO Notifications

The Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for selection of Probationary Officer (PO)/ Management Trainees who aspire to join any of the participating banks. The examination is held once in a year and takes place in two tiers. The tier 1 involves online examination that further has Preliminary and Main exams. Candidates who qualify the preliminary examination can appear for the main examination. 

Candidates who qualify the main examination are called for the Common Interview. The interview is conducted by the participating banks and coordinated by the nodal bank authorities. 

The shortlisted candidates are given positions based on the final vacancies for the financial year and requirements of the participating banks. The validity for CRP-PO will expire automatically at the close of a business after completion of one year on March 31, with or without prior notice.

Candidates should note that recruitment in banks depends upon several factors such as structural changes, external factors, internal factors, branch expansion, the health of the organization, business growth, business volume and restrictions imposed. Additionally, the applicants must note that the provisional allotment will be made based on the final number of vacancies reported by the participating banks. 

IBPS will conduct the online preliminary and mains examination, interview and declare the results. Additionally, the body will inform the candidates about the results and shortlisted candidates.
