two pipes A and B can fill a tank in 36min and 45mins resp. A water pipe C can empty the tank in 30 mins. First A and B are opened . after 7 mins , C is also opened. In how many time . the tank is full? acc. to my result through ur method i got 21 minutes because the tank would be empty in this case because the value of C is less than the A and B.. but in the book it sucks.. help me

but I got 39 minutes to fill the tank sir..and I solved by the same method u taught

First Carnatic War (1746-1748AD) This war was an echo of the Austrian war of succession They began to fight in India in 1746 Dupleix the French Governor of Pondicherry had Dupleix sent an appeal to La Bourdonnais the He besieged Madras & captured it in 1746 an ambition to establish French power in India Governor of Mauritius to capture Madras

The Nawab of Carnatic Anwaruddin did not like this so he sent an army against the French At Santhome on the banks of river Adaiyar but Anwaruddin army was defeated Then Dupleix tried to capture Fort St. David from the British but failed Later the British attacked Pondicherry but the French successfully defended the city

  4. In 1748, the war of Austrian Succession came to an end in Europe So the first Carnatic war also came to an end in India As a result of this war a treaty of Aix-la-Chapelle the English get back Madras

  5. Second Carnatic War (1748 - 1754AD) This war was connected with the succession disputes between the Nizam of Hydrabad & the Nawab of Carnatic Asif shah died in 1748 Son Nasir Jung Grandson- Muzzafar Jung Dost Ali also died in 1748 Son Anwaruddin Son in law- Chanda sahib

  6. Battle of Ambut - Anwaruddin Killed in 1749 Chanda Sahib became the Nawab of Carnatic In Hydrabad both Nasir Jung Muzzafar Jung were killed Salabat Jung became the Nizam of Hydrabad by Bussy The condition of English became critical & Robert Clive changed the course of war

  7. -He attacked Arcot the capital of Carnatic & he defeated Chanda sahib and made Mohamad Ali as Nawab of Arcot This war came to end with the treaty of Pondicherry in 1755

  8. Third Carnatic War (1756 -1763) In 1756 the seven years war broke out in Europe & The French General Count de Lally captured fort Bussy the French General at Hyderabad was asked When Bussy left Hydrabad the British captured it the same war echoed in India St. David to attack Madras

  9. Count de Lally & Bussy together attacked Madras but the British General, Sir Eyre Coote defeated both in Battle of Wandiwash in 1760 In 1761, Count de Lally surrendered Pondicherry to British War came to end, Treaty of Paris 176:3 The French lost all their prestige & influence in India
