Earlier India was paying 50,000 when it was just an associate member, but after being a full member, it has to pay 5,00,000 :)

Regional Connectivity Scheme: As per the scheme, the Centre will subsidise the losses incurred by airlines flying out of dormant airports, to allow airlines to charge 22,500 for an hour's flight to passengers About 80% of the subsidy will be collected by charging a lew of up to 8,500 on each departing flight of domestic airlines and the rest 20% will come from the respective state governments Centre will be taking the Viability Gap Funding (VGF) route .
