The Incredible India Tourism Facilitator (IITF) Accreditation Program is a digital initiative of the Government’s Ministry of Tourism (MoT). Upon successful completion of this program, the learner can become a tourism facilitator certified by the Government Tourism Board.

IITFC Course

IITFC programs can be divided into three categories, described as follows: 

Basic Level: The basic course has modules aimed at training tourism facilitators on knowledge, skills and attitudes. It also contains country-specific modules. 

Advanced Level: Advanced courses include specialized courses on specific subjects such as heritage and adventure. It will only be active after the basic course has been successfully completed. 

Language Level: A special language-specific course that includes regional and specific discipline modules for tour operators. 

First, applicants must start a beginner-level program. After completing the basic level program, the internal assessment will be performed by the agency using online testing. Applicants must pass an internal assessment. If you do not pass, you will not be able to receive a course certificate or continue your advanced or language course.

Online Registration of IITFC

Documents required to enrol in an online course under the IITFC program: 

ID: PAN card, Aadhaar card, driver’s license, voter card, etc. 

Address Proof: Aadhar card, valid passport, utility bill, property tax bill, etc. 

Certified copy of 10/12 Certificate issued by the competent authority to determine age and educational qualifications.

All other documents (if needed)

Step 1: Applicants need to access the “Ministry of Tourism of India” portal to register for the online course.

Step 2: You must be registered as a new user on the portal to enrol in courses in this program. 

Step 3: On the homepage, the applicant must click the “Incredible India Tourist Facilitator Certification (IITFC)” link leading to the new user registration page. 

Step 4: Next, the applicant must click the Registration tab displayed on the portal web page.

Step 5: Applicants need to enter the required information on the registration form, such as B. Username, email address, first and last name, state, selected category, etc.

Step 6: Then upload all the above evidence to the portal before submitting your application.

Step 7: Finally, the applicant must click the submit icon for successful registration.

Step 8: Clicking the Login tab will redirect you to a login page where the applicant must log in with their user ID and password. Otherwise, you can also use a “guest login” account. If you are an existing applicant, you can log in to the system directly. 

Step 9: After logging in, applicants can search for a course or select a course from the list provided.

Step 10: Materials for the online course are also available to applicants.

Final steps

Step 11: Applicants can enrol in a basic course consisting of 7 modules aimed at training facilitators for the development of areas of knowledge, skills and attitudes for a fee of Rs 2000.

Step 12: Applicants are required to pay the prescribed fee for the selected course. After payment, the applicant will receive confirmation for further reference.

Eligibility

  • IITFC involves attracting and hiring a wide variety of candidates, from passionate students (new students) to aspiring housewives who can comfortably acquire tourism promotion skills at home. 
  • Every 10th or 12th person can enrol in the basic course online on the portal. 
  • Applicants must have local or local language skills associated with that particular state. 
  • Qualified professionals or passive job seekers can register as part of this course to add skills to their resumes. 
  • To enrol in this online course, the applicant’s age limit must be 18 years or older.
