What Are Padma Awards?

The Bharat Ratna Award
It is considered the highest honour for a civilian in the country. The history of the Padma awards states that the Padma and Bharat Ratna awards were incorporated from the year 1954. The History of the Padma Awards
The Padma and the Bharat Ratna awards were incorporated in 1954. Padma awards were earlier classified into three distinctive parts- Pahela Varg, Dusra Varg and the Tisra Varg.
