BRICS Summit 2021
The full form of this summit is Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi virtually presided over the 13th BRICS Summit today. BRICS@15: Intra-BRICS Cooperation for Continuity, Consolidation, and Consensus was the Summit’s topic, chosen by India.
All other BRICS leaders, including President Jair Bolsonaro of Brazil, President Vladimir Putin of Russia, President Xi Jinping of China, and President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa, attended the summit.
The Prime Minister thanked BRICS partners for their collaboration during India’s Chairship this year, which enabled the country to launch various new initiatives.
India Global Forum (IGF) Annual Summit
The event took place in Bangalore. According to the Economic Survey 2021-22, as of the 14th of January in this year, India has 83 unicorns with a combined market value of USD 277.77 billion. After the United States and China, this nation became the third-largest unicorn country in the world after adding a record 44 unicorns in the year 2021. This allowed it to overtake the United Kingdom as the world’s third-largest unicorn country. This year, eight Indian start-ups have become members of the exclusive unicorn club, which suggests that the total number of unicorns in India may see a significant increase in the months to come.
In the last two years, the tale of India’s economic progress has been dominated by the rise of unicorn companies and start-up businesses. A digital economy and a tech-driven revolution are on the horizon for the nation, and the rest of the world is keeping a close eye on “New India” as a potential investment destination for start-ups in a wide range of areas, such as healthcare and education technology. This is a very rare event, particularly in view of the financial incentives that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman included in the budget. The topic of discussion during the conference will be “The New India Inc.”

Visakhapatnam served as the location for the Annual National Conference of the Indian Psychiatric Society, which is what the abbreviation stands for. The conference, which will last for three days and will take place at the Vizag Conventions in Madhurawada, will bring together specialists not only from India but also from other countries. The overuse of drugs and alcohol in society, stress among students and the increased frequency of suicides, depression and anxiety, issues associated with old age, and dementia would be the focus areas. Association of Southeast Asian Nation (ASEAN) 2021.
The acronym “ASEAN Summit” refers to the Association of South East Asian Nations in its complete form. The ASEAN–India Summit is a highlight on the ASEAN calendar that takes place every year. As the eighth summit of this kind that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has attended, the 18th ASEAN–India Summit, which took place via videoconferencing on October 28, 2021, was a demonstration of India’s commitment to the importance of ASEAN. This year’s summit, which was chaired by Brunei, had the theme “We Care, We Prepare, We Prosper,” which is particularly pertinent at a time when the resiliency of the ASEAN community, as well as the strength of the India–ASEAN partnership, has been called into question. Brunei served as the summit’s chair this year.

The 12th BRICS Summit was held in Russia on November 17, 2020, and the subject was “Global Stability, Shared Security, and Innovative Growth.” Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi attended the summit at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin. The conference was conducted via the use of the internet.
