Body

The term of office for the President is for a period of five years, and he or she can run for reelection. Either he or she can decide to step down from their position before the end of their term, or their passing could cause their office to become vacant. To all intents and purposes, the beginning of his tenure of office is considered to be the date that he takes the oath of office. The position of the Head of state in India is traditionally held by the first citizen of the nation, who is also known as the President. According to Article 52 of the Indian Constitution, the position of President of India must be filled. There are particular provisions that are unique. The election of a President, the President’s Powers and Functions, and the Impeachment Process are all outlined in Articles 52 through 62 of the Constitution. In order to provide the Prime Minister of India with counsel and guidance on significant issues, India has a council of ministers that is led by the Prime Minister. The single-transferable voting system is used to elect officials in India, including the President of India. An electoral college, which is made up of elected members of the government, is responsible for choosing the President of the United States. These representatives formed the government after being elected in state assembly and national elections. There is a blanket ban on voting in the presidential election for anyone who has been nominated for a seat in either the house of representatives or a state legislature.
