This scheme was officially launched by the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi in the state of Kolkata. This scheme is completely backed and contributed to by the Government of India making it more dependable. 

This scheme comes under the jurisdiction of the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority Act. Any person that is affiliated with the National Pension Scheme (NPS) is eligible for this scheme. This scheme mainly targets the unorganised sectors of society. This scheme applies to all the individuals that are a part of the NPS. 

This scheme is applicable only if a person can satisfy the conditions that are put forth in its terms and conditions. However, once the conditions are satisfied, a person can be eligible enough to get a pension of up to ₹5000 per month at the age of 60. Named after Atal Bihari Vajpayee, this scheme plays a crucial role in maintaining the living standards of the people that have grown old. 

PM Suraksha Bima Yojana

This scheme is a part of the financial budget that was passed in the year of 2015. This scheme was put forth by the hm financial minister Arun Jaitley. This is an accident insurance scheme that is officially backed by the Government of India and has been in effect ever since 2015 when Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially launched the scheme. 

This scheme is available for all the individuals in the age group of 17 to 70 years old. This being an accidental insurance scheme, provides a person with financial support if any misdeed is to happen. In case of the full disability of the person, the subject will be given a sum of ₹200000. On the other hand, in the case of partial disability, a sum of ₹100000 will be transferred to the person in question. 

This scheme has strict provisions regarding the way a person is injured for which the claim has been filed. Any case of drugs and abuse, alcoholism and a suicidal attempt is discarded from this scheme. In case of such actions, the Government is not meant to pay any settlement to the injured. Also, the prospect of partial and full disability will depend on the capability of a person to function.

Under the provisions of this scheme, it aims to provide every rural area of the court with proper lighting facilities. Besides this, this scheme also promotes energy efficiency in the households of rural areas. The government provides these areas with electricity at the lowest costs possible. It aims to make general facilities like electricity available to all the individuals regardless of their background. Under this scheme, more than 10 million LEDs have been planted in the households of such people.
