  1. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) – The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is a government of India initiative that aims to provide affordable housing to urban dwellers by 2022. The scheme was first introduced on June 25, 2015. The interest rate for the Pradhanmantri Always Yojana begins at 6.50% per annum and can be extended for up to 20 years. The deadline for applying for the Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana scheme for the EWS and LIG categories has been extended to March 31, 2022.

-The annual subsidiary interest rate is 6.50 percent.

-Differently abled people and senior citizens will be given priority access to ground floors.

-House construction incorporates environmentally friendly and sustainable technology.

-In the scheme, 4041 towns are included in the country’s total urban area, with priority given to 500 class 1 cities.

  1. Garib Kalyan – Pradhan Mantri Pradhanmantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana – The Prime Minister’s Food Security Scheme for the Poor, or Anya Yojana, was launched on March 26, 2020, during the Covid-19 in India. Pradhanmantri Garib Kalyan and Yojana promise 5 kg rice or wheat and 1 kg dal to each ration card holder. It is the world’s largest food security programme. The programme began in 2020 for three months and included 80 crore ration cards. The Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana will be extended for another four months by the Union Cabinet in 2022.
  2. Policy meri – It was launched as part of the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana. It is a door-to-door distribution campaign that provides crop insurance to farmers for upcoming seasons. The policy ensures that farmer communities are well informed and have adequate information. Funds for assistance will be made available through the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, which will provide financial assistance to farmers who have suffered crop loss or damage. The pradhanmantri fasal bima yojana, which was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 18, 2016, in Sehore, Madhya Pradesh, has now been running for six years.
  3. RUSA- RUSA provides strategic funding to eligible state higher educational institutes. The funding is distributed from the Central Ministry to state governments and then to state higher education institutions. It seeks to improve access, equity, and excellence in the state higher education system through greater efficiency, transparency, responsiveness, and accountability.
  4. Support for marginalised individuals for livelihood and enterprise (SMILE) – The scheme’s focus is on rehabilitation, medical facility provision, counselling, basic documentation, skill development, economic linkage, and so on. The scheme is designed and implemented by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment with the assistance of state and union territory governments, community-based organisations, local urban bodies, nongovernmental organisations, institutes, and others.
  5. Jal Jeevan Yojana – The Jal Jeevan mission aims to connect four crore rural households to running water by 2022. In a recent webinar, the prime minister emphasised the importance of using technology for service delivery and community participation in order to meet the Jal Jeevan Mission’s goal of 2024. The Jal Jeevan mission has been allocated 60,000 crores in the Union Budget for 2022.
  6. Jalshakti Abhiyan 2022- The scheme was unveiled on March 22, 2021. From 29 March 2022 to 30 November 2022, the Jal Shakti Abhiyan campaign launched a new initiative called Catch the Rain.
