DDoS Attack

Check out more details regarding DDoS Attack below.

Introduction

A distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack is a malicious attempt to disrupt the normal traffic of a targeted server, network, or service by flooding the target or its surrounding infrastructure with Internet traffic. They achieve their efficacy by using a variety of compromised computer systems as attack traffic sources. Computers and other networked resources, such as IoT devices, are examples of exploited machinery.

  • From a high level, these attacks resemble an unanticipated traffic jam on the highway, preventing ordinary traffic from reaching its goal.
