Introduction
The Border Area Development Programme (BADP) is implemented by the Department of Border Management which functions under the Ministry of Home Affairs. State governments also play an important role in the implementation.

- Funds are provided to governments to implement projects related to infrastructure, livelihood, education, health, agriculture and related sectors etc. y All the villages, those lying within 0-10km distance of the International Border, are covered under BADP.
