All-India services (AIS) include three CS (Civil services), which are IAS, IPS, and IFoS. A detailed description of three types of services is provided below.
- Under Article 312 of the Constitution there are elaborative and extensive provisions are made for implementation of All India Services.
- In India Police and Administrative systems are created through the act of Parliament. Under sec 3 of the AIS act 1951 explains about process and selection methods of members of the All-India Service e.g., Indian Administrative System (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Indian Forest Service (IFS).
Key Objectives of Government in Building the AIS:
- Integrating and unifying the national interest through the following uniform system of administration and governance method.
- The one of the characteristics of the Neutral and non-participation in every form like no interest in political parties, secular, no place for sectarian ideas etc.
- Professionalism, efficiency, integrity, empathy, non-partiality, etc., are the main qualities being followed in Indian Bureaucracy.
