Although the majority of the world is more acquainted with democracy as the power is delegated to all the citizens, the concept of dictatorship is still a prevalent term in many countries and economies that strictly follow capitalism as their main mode of economy.Â

In the case of democracy, the laws of justice are shaped and constructed based on the citizens of the territory. Keeping them in mind democracy creates the laws that benefit such citizens and does not discriminate between one that is the leader and those who are not. Important laws like fundamental rights are given to the citizens who can exercise them of their free will and even request to amend various existing laws as per the need.Â

The laws that are constructed by the dictator are best suited for himself in every way and are implemented to protect and respect the dictator specifically. The freedom they experience to choose their rights and exercise such rights is ample while having to be compared with that of a dictatorship. Dictatorship on the other hand restricts its citizens to not only exercise basic human rights but also various others by imposing strict laws that when not abided by can call for severe punishment
