Importance

It is very important that within territory humanity prevails and the concept of general justice is served to one and all. Public welfare is an important feature that helps to build up our society and allow people to live in peace. The concept of a single ruler taking control over a territory and building up the same for development and social welfare has been existence since the time of kings and rulers being in charge of such. With more and more development in all forms, the concepts like dictatorship and democracy have taken over the world. Although it is needless to say that as of the current date 95% of the world is ruled by democracy, the social construct of dictatorship also prevails in some places. Both these forms of leadership exist within human society and the comparison between them becomes all the more evident for all the right reasons. 

Meaning

Democracy is the term that is used to form a government that rules over the territory which is selected by the people for the people from the people. It is a term that allows leaders to be selected amongst commoners who are the best fit for such roles. By the method of voting the common people of a territory cast their vote against the candidate that holds the office of the leader. Democracy is a social construct that allows every individual citizen of territory to feel important and hold power. As the citizens choose their own leader the presence of flexibility exists in such legislature. Democracy not only allows the citizens to choose their leaders but also criticized them opposes them whenever necessary.

Dictatorship on the other hand is a form of government that highly restricts the citizens of the territory to exercise their basic democratic rights. The power to control and manage the entire territory is a pawn just one specific person who is considered to be the leader. The leader makes decisions on behalf of all the citizens of the territory and solely is responsible for it all. Although the majority of the world is more acquainted with democracy as the power is delegated to all the citizens, the concept of dictatorship is still a prevalent term in many countries and economies that strictly follow capitalism as their main mode of economy. 

Laws of Justice

In the case of democracy, the laws of justice are shaped and constructed based on the citizens of the territory. Keeping them in mind democracy creates the laws that benefit such citizens and does not discriminate between one that is the leader and those who are not. Important laws like fundamental rights are given to the citizens who can exercise them of their free will and even request to amend various existing laws as per the need. 

The laws of justice in the case of dictatorship are solely constructed by The dictator. The laws that are constructed by the dictator are best suited for himself in every way and are implemented to protect and respect the dictator specifically. It is not for the people who are the citizens of the country and do not help them in any way possible. The laws of justice in such economies

Freedom

In the case of democracy, the freedom to choose not just the leader but also the various factors that govern the economy, as well as the government, is best upon the citizens of the territory. The freedom they experience to choose their rights and exercise such rights is ample while having to be compared with that of a dictatorship. Dictatorship on the other hand restricts its citizens to not only exercise basic human rights but also various others by imposing strict laws that when not abided by can call for severe punishment

Conclusion

Therefore it is needless to say that a comparison between dictatorship and democracy often arises because both have been exercised and are still prevalent in the world. The rate of development and social welfare in both such economies are contrasting each other due to their very differences in nature.
