• Project Profile: The Salal Hydroelectric Power Station is a 690 MW “run-of-the-river” (RoR) project located on the Chenab River in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
• Historical Design: It was the first major project built by India under the IWT regime (1960).
