India bans 928 Military Items:
In another step towards making the country’s defence industry atmanirbhar, the Indian Defence Ministry on May 14 approved a fresh list of 928 components and subsystems that will only be procured from domestic firms once import bans on them kick in, over a period of five-and-a-half years.
