Technology Development Programme is introduced to promote the technology development in the different fields such as defence, manufacturing, agriculture etc. The purpose of this programme is the production of sustainable and better quality goods in the country. The programme helps enhance the technology related to the production and manufacturing sectors. Application of research and development to take the social and economic advantage in production units is the primary focused area under this programme.
To achieve the goals of the Technology Development Programme, Technology Development Fund (TDF) is introduced by the Ministry of Defence of the nation.
