| Assistant Mining Geologist                                                                   | Geology or applied geology master’s degree from a recognized university or institution NOTE: In the event of candidates who are otherwise well qualified, qualifications may be relaxed at the Union Public Service Commission’s discretion for reasons that must be documented in writing. | A recognised institution, two(02) years of research or teaching in the field of geology or applied geology, or two(02) years of experience doing geological appraisals for mineral or ore deposits. |
| Scientific Officer (Physical Rubber Plastic Textile) PRPT | A master’s degree in physics, chemistry, chemical engineering, textile technology, rubber technology, plastic technology, polymer and rubber technology, or chemical technology from an accredited university or institute is required. | One year of experience working in a laboratory evaluating textiles, rubber, plastic, paper, leather, and associated products. Alternatively, one year of experience working in research and development in related sectors. |
| Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) | AMIE (Section A & B) of the Institution of Engineers (India) degree in civil engineering from an accredited university or its equivalent (Civil). Note: Candidates are only eligible if they were enrolled as Associate Members of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) up until May 31, 2013, and those who enlisted on or after June 1, 2013, are not eligible to be considered for the position of Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) (Direct Recruitment). | Having designed, maintained, and built structural and reinforced concrete works for two years in a supervisory capacity Note: In the event of candidates who are otherwise well qualified, the Union Public Service Commission may decide to waive the requirements for reasons that will be documented in writing. |

| Assistant Mining Geologist | Pay Level 7 (44900-142400) in the pay matrix according to the 2016 CCS (RP) Rules. At the time of initial appointment, the total compensation, excluding T.A. and HRA, will be Rs. 44900 + any applicable DA per month. |
