The UP Bhagyalakshmi Yojana 2022 was established by the state authority of Uttar Pradesh to provide financial help to girls from low-income families.
Family members of individuals who are natives of Uttar Pradesh and were born below the poverty line in a BPL (Below Poverty Line) family are given a bond of Rs 50,000 in the name of the daughter.
After the girl’s birth, the family must register for the UP Bhagya Laxmi Yojana 2022 at the local Anganwadi facility. A total of 5100 rupees is also handed to the girl’s mother. The reward for this scheme would be paid out in numerous installments. Under this arrangement, the girl’s parents would be given a total of 2 lakh rupees till she reaches the age of 21.

- A girl born into a BPL(Below Poverty Line) family would receive a bond of Rs 50,000 from the Bhagya Laxmi Yojana to her parents, in addition to the UP.
- In particular, pregnant women would receive Rs.51 hundred in financial aid to help them eat a balanced diet.
- To ensure that the girl child has a suitable education, she will be provided with financial assistance in the form of a particular sum distributed in various ways based on her educational qualifications.
- A family’s limit of two girl children will be eligible for this programme.

- The annual income of the family should be less than 2 lakhs and reside in Uttar Pradesh
- Scheme is for only two girls from a single family and they birth certification should have been completed within one year of the birth
