The JEE or Joint Entrance Examination Mains 2017 was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The exam was held in both online and offline mode. The paper based (offline) examination was held on 2nd April 2017 in morning while the online paper was held later on 8th and 9th April respectively and approximately 12 lakh students participated in both modes.
The difficulty level of the overall question paper was moderate. Chemistry was the easiest and quickest to solve among all and a little bit similar to the previous year question. The Physics paper was numerical based. It was not very theoretical and was comparatively easy for students. The Mathematics section was very lengthy and time taking and that is why many students rated it most difficult to solve.
