The JEE or Joint Entrance Examination was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for the exam held on 2nd June, 2013. The JEE Advanced Exam is a national based competitive examination which is given by students to get admission in Science, Engineering and Planning programmes in reputable institutions including IITs, IIITs, and NITs. The candidates can appear for this examination only after clearing the JEE Main exam.
The JEE Advanced exam conducted on June 2, 2013 was conducted by Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. The questions covered in this exam were divided in three sections namely, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. There were 2 Papers. The total marks of the paper were 360. Each paper was of 180 marks. The questions that were covered were Multiple choice questions, matching types, single answer MCQs, etc.
As per the reviews given by experts, it was found that the overall difficulty level of this exam was more than the JEE 2012 exam. The difficulty level of the Physics exam was moderate. The section was easy. The question asked in paper 1 of Chemistry was moderately difficult than Paper 2. Also, the Mathematics Paper 1 was more difficult than Paper 2.
