NTA Full Form

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is an Indian government agency that has been approved by the Union Council of Ministers and is responsible for administering entrance examinations across the country.

In a statement made on Wednesday, government officials stated that Vineet Joshi will be chosen as the agency’s first Director-General. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is responsible for administering the Joint Entrance Examination – Main (JEE Main), the National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET-UG), the National Eligibility Test (NET), and the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test, in addition to the Joint Entrance Examination – Main (JEE Main), the National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test (NECET), and the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is also in charge of these tests, which are carried out by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Features of NTA

NTA Application Process

NTA 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Exams conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) have specific eligibility requirements:

JEE Mains exam

  • Aspirants of any age may register for the JEE Main examination.
  • To sit for the JEE Main 2022 exam, you must have completed your high school diploma or its equivalent in 2019 or 2020.
  • Paper 1 of JEE Main 2022 (Paper 1) requires candidates to have taken at least five courses in class 12th/qualifying examinations, including Language, Physics, Maths and any one of the following (Chemistry; Biology; Biotechnology; Technical Vocational Subject):

IIT-NEET Undergraduate Group

  • Admission to the first year of an MBBS/BDS programme is restricted to those who are 17 years old or older on or before December 31 of the year in which they are admitted.
  • To ensure fairness, the number of attempts that any candidate can make will be limited to three. The first time you appear in NEET-2022 will count as an attempt.

DU JAT

  • Senior secondary school students that have passed from a recognised board such as the CBSE
  • Applicants who have just finished their final examinations and are waiting for their results can also enrol for DU JAT.
  • Candidate’s class 12 exam results must be at least 60% (55%) for SC/ST/CW/PwD and 54% (54%) for OBC (Non-Creamy) categories.
  • English, Math, and any other two subjects offered by Delhi University shall be used to calculate the overall grade.
  • Candidates must have passed all four of the required subjects to be eligible for consideration (English, Mathematics and any other two subjects provided by the Delhi University)
  • If you fall under any of these categories, you must present a copy of your current OBC-non creamy layer/SC/ST/PwD/CW category certificate at the time of your admission.

DUET

  • Candidates for DUET’s BTech programmers must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 60% in four of the following subjects: English, mathematics, science, and social studies.
  • Degrees in humanities and social sciences require students to score at least 60 per cent in four of their 12th-grade subjects.
  • Candidates for the BA Hons in Multimedia and Mass Communication must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 out of 4.0 in each of the four required courses. They should have gotten an A+ in English. One of a candidate’s top four academic choices can be Mass Media Studies.

GPAT 

  • Applicants for GPAT 2022 must be citizens of India.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entrance students) or equivalent from a recognised university is required for GPAT 2022 aspirants.

CMAT

  • CMAT 2022 aspirant must have graduated from a recognised university with a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in any discipline.
  • Students in their final year of high school (10+2+3) may also apply for the CMAT if their results are released before the start of admissions for the class of 2022.

UGC NET

  • At least 55% in their Master’s degree exams (in fields like humanities, social sciences, electronics, computer science and applications, etc.) from a UGC-recognized college/university is required for those wishing to apply for the UGC NET programme.

NCHMCT JEE

  • This year’s NCHMCT JEE has an upper age limit of 22 years for candidates from the general category. NCHMCT JEE 2022 accepts applicants born on or after July 1, 1999.
  • Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED from a recognised central or state board of education.
  • NCHMCT JEE 2022 will accept provisional applications from students who will be taking their 10+2 or an exam of equivalency in the year 2022.
