IBPS PO Application Process
Candidates appearing for IBPS PO Examination must follow the below mentioned steps to apply and register for the programme.
Candidates must scan their:
Photograph [4.5cm X 3.5 cm]
- Candidates need to provide a recent passport size colour photograph
- The picture needs to be taken against a light-coloured and preferably white background
- Make sure you look straight into the camera and have a relaxed look
- Make sure there are no reflections, if you wear glasses and your eyes can be clearly seen
- Ensure there is no red eye if you need to use flash
- Hats, caps and dark glasses are not allowed. Religious headwear is allowed but shouldn’t cover your face
- Preferred dimensions 200 x 230 pixels
- Size of file should be 20kb–50 kb. In case the size of the file is more than 50kb, adjust the scanner settings such as the DPI resolution, no. of colours during the scanning process
Signature
- Applicants need to sign on white paper using a Black Ink pen
- The preferred dimensions are 140 x 60 pixels
- The file size needs to be between 10kb – 20kb
- The size of the scanned image should not be more than 20kb
Left thumb impression and handwritten declaration
- Applicants need to put their left thumb impression on a white paper with blue or black ink
- File type: JPG / jpeg
- The dimensions need to be 240 x 240 pixels in 200 DPI (Preferred for required quality) i.e 3 cm * 3 cm (Width* Height)
- File Size should be 20 KB – 50 KB
- In case if a candidate does not have left thumb he/she can use their right thumb] or in case left thumb impression is not uploaded then candidates should specify the finger name in the document uploaded and the specification regarding the left/right hand or toe
Handwritten Declaration
- Candidates need to write a handwritten declaration clearly on a white paper with black ink
- Only JPG / jpeg file type will be accepted
- The dimensions need to be 800 x 400 pixels in 200 DPI (Preferred for required quality) i.e. 10 cm * 5 cm (Width* Height)
- The file size should be between 50 KB – 100 KB
- Candidates must submit the handwritten declaration [according to the text given below]. The declaration should be handwritten by the candidate and in the English language only. In case the candidates have not written the handwritten letters or written in any other language then it will not be considered valid for the application
- In case there is a candidate that cannot write, he/she can get their text declaration types, and they can put their left thumb impression [in case signatures are not possible] below the type declaration. After this procedure, candidates can upload the document according to the mentioned specifications
Note:
- The signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration must be of the applicant and not anyone else
- In case the signature of the candidate on the attendance sheet or call letter, signed at the time of examination, doesn’t match the signature uploaded, the candidate will be disqualified
- Signature and handwritten declaration in Capital letters will not be accepted
Scanned Documents
- Candidates must ensure that they have scanned documents and adhere to the required guidelines according to Annexure III of the advertisement
- Candidates must note that the signature in the capital letter is unacceptable
- The impression of the left thumb should be scanned properly and not smudged
- The text for the handwritten declaration is as follows:
- “I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
- The declaration mentioned above must be in the handwriting of the candidate and the English language only. Additionally, the candidates should note that the handwritten declaration should not be in the capital letters. In case the declaration is written by anybody else or in any other language, it will be considered invalid
- Ready the documents or the details required to complete the online payment procedures for the application fee
- Candidates must have a valid personal email ID. The ID should be active till the declaration of the results of the examination
- IBPS may send the notification to download the call letters for the examination through the registered email ID
- Under no circumstance, candidates are allowed to share the mentioned email ID that he/she will create to apply online
- Application fee for the application [GST applicable will be borne by IBPS]
- Application fees can be paid from 20th October 2021 to 10th November 2021 [online mode]
The fees for the application is as follows: - Rs.175 for SC, ST and PWD candidates
- Rs. 850 for all other candidates
Note: the charges for the bank transaction for online payment of application fees will be borne by the candidate.
Procedure to apply online
- Candidates should visit the authorized website of www.ibps.in and click on the home page. They should open the link ‘’CRP PO/MT’’ and then click on ‘’Click here to apply online for CRP-PO/MT-XI’’ to open the application form
- Candidates have to click on the ‘’Click on the new registration’’ to register their application by entering their basic details in the form. After that, a provisional registration ID and password will be provided by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidates must note down the ID and password
- An email and SMS indicating the provisional registration number and password will also be sent by the system
Applicants must upload their:
- Photograph
- Signature
- Left thumb impression
- A handwritten declaration
NOTE:
- It is advised that candidates must fill out the application form carefully, as no change in any of the data filled in the online application will be possible. Before the submission of the application, it is recommended that candidates should click ‘’SAVE AND NEXT’’ to verify the details in the application form and modify the same if required. No change will be allowed after the final submission
- Visually impaired candidates are responsible for carefully verifying the details filled in the form, and they must ensure that the same are correct before the submission, as no change is allowed after the submission of the form
Mode of payment
- Candidates can pay the application fee/intimation charges through online mode only
- Applicants should carefully fill out the application form and click on the ‘’complete registration’’ button at the end of the online application format. Before completing the registration it is advised that candidates should check the details filled carefully such as name, name of the father/husband, etc. must be done carefully as it will be visible on certificates/mark sheets. Any change or alteration found can lead to the disqualification of the candidate
- In case the candidate is not able to fill the application in one go, then he/she can save the data already entered. When the data is saved, a provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system. The candidate should note down the details. Additionally, the registration ID and password will also be sent via email or phone. Applicants can edit the data using the provisional registered number and password
- The payment can be made through debit cards [RuPay/Visa/Maestro], credit cards, internet banking, IMPS, Cash cards/mobile wallets by providing the required information
- After the final submission, candidates will be redirected to an additional page where they will get instructions to fill in the requisite details
- If the online transactions, candidates are advised to log in again with their provisional details to pay the application fee
- On successful payment, an e-receipt will be generated
- Candidates must take a printout of e receipt and online application form containing the payment details. In case the printout is not generated, then payment may not be successful
Note :
- After submission of the payment information in the application form, candidates should wait for the confirmation before pressing the Back or Refresh button
- For credit card users: all prices are listed in Indian Rupee. If you are a non-credit card user, your bank will convert the local currency based on the exchange rates
- To secure your data, close the window once your transaction is complete
- IBPS will not be responsible for any consequences arising out of incorrect and incomplete details of the application form
- If candidates does not receive any provisional registration ID and password through email or SMS, then there is a chance that their email is not registered successfully
- An application form will be considered incomplete without the proper passport size photo, signature, left thumb impressions and handwritten declaration or unsuccessful application fee payment
- Candidates are advised to fill out the form before, and they should not wait till the last date to avoid heavy load on the internet or any consequences
- Additionally, the candidates must note that the above-mentioned procedure is only valid before applying for the application form
