Are these epics still preserved somewhere.. Like in a museum or govt undertaken place anywhere or just told stories from our ancestors and also how do we come to know abt their existence and their real time of or before common Era
there are many references of ramayana in mahabharata like flag of arjun's cavalry had sign of hanuman and many more. so make it correct that ramayana was earlier than mahabharata. I think ramayana was in 10000-8000 BCE and mahabharata was in 1400-600 BCE.

Watch the video properly she is telling that ramayana was written later than mahabharata not when did it happened
