Androecium _lt is the third whorl composed of stamens.Male reproductive part is the stamen.Stamens may be united with other members or themselves.Epipetalous_attached to petals,eg.brinjal.Epiphyllous_attached to perianth,eg.lily.The stamens may be united into one bundle(monoadelphous) eg.china rose,two bundle s(diadelphous),eg.pea,more than two(polyseplous).Gynoecium_Female reproductive part.It is composed of carpels.Ovary is the enlarged basal part.the elongated tube is style,.The stigma the top is the receptive surface of pollen .When the carpels are free it is termed apocarpous.They are termed synchronous when carpels are fused .eg.tomato
