Based on the position of thalamus flowers may be of three types.Hypogynous flower _The thalamus is flat,convex,conical.Gynoecium occupies the high est position.The ovary is superior.If the gynoecium is situated at centre,the other parts on the rim of thalamus,the ovary is half inferior.In epiyunous flower the over is inferior,the other parts above the ovary.Calyx,corolla,androecium,gynoecium are the parts of a flower.Calyx may be polyseplous or gamoseplous. Corolla also be polypetalous or gamoseplous.
