Magnetic Effect of Electric Current

The magnetic effect of electric current is the force on the conductor which is trying to carry the current. It is placed in a magnetic field which is provided by the left-hand rule of Fleming.

There is no doubt that the magnetic effect of electric current has a particular meaning which refers to the process that helps to pass the electric current through the wire, and after that, it is considered as a magnet. It is observed that the electric current can lose its magnetic effect while it does not pass through the wire and the study is going to show the essence effectively.

Magnetic effect of electric current

Basically, the magnetic effect of electric current is related to the magnetic field and this is considered as a force field that is created by the magnetic dipoles as well as the electric charges which are moving in nature. On the other hand, it can be stated that the magnetic fields naturally exert the force which is associated with the other moving charges and magnetic dipoles. It can be also stated that the magnetic effect of electric current is considered as the vector quantity because it has two qualities as magnitude and direction. It is important to know that the unit of magnetic density is concave and C. There is an important thing related to the magnetic effect of the electric current. This thing is going to be discussed below:

Magnetic field line: This is the most relevant thing about the magnetic effect of electric current and it is defined as the forces which can try to show the direction of a force of magnet as well as the power and strength of the magnet. On the other hand, it is observed that there is a particular direction line of the magnetic field. The direct line is directed from the south to the north pole in the context of inside the magnet and outside the magnet. The famous scientist Michael Faraday discovered the visual magnetic field.

Concept of the magnetic effect of electric current:

There is a particular concept of the magnetic effect related to the electric current. These concepts can discuss the importance and the strength of the magnetic field. The strength of the magnetic field is that it can be considered as the straight current conductor in the shape of concentric circles around it. The other strength of the magnetic effect of electric current is that the magnetic fields are visualized by the lines of this field. There is also some importance of the magnetic effect associated with the electric current as well as the strength. It is important to know that the strength of the magnetic field is based on the current which is related to the conductor. The relationship between current and the magnetic field is that the improvement of the strength of the magnetic field helps to improve the strength of the current. On the other hand, it can be stated that the decrease of the current is related to the decrease of the strength of the magnetic field.

Definition of the magnetic effect of electric current

There is a particular definition of this magnetic effect of electric current.  It can be defined as the effect which is related to the electromagnet. It can be also stated that the electrically charged conductor gets deflected if the magnetic compass is brought near this type of conductor. There is a rule which is related to the magnetic field named the right thumb rule. This rule is important for the particular discussion and it is given below:

The right thumb rule: This is also called the right-hand thumb rule and with the help of the particular rule, identifies the direction of current in the context of the straight current-carrying conductor. This rule is also called the corkscrew rule of Maxwell because the corkscrew tries to drive the direction of the current which is related to the magnetic field.  The direction of the magnetic field is also related to the particular rule.

Conclusion

From the above discussion, it can be concluded that there are some devices that are related to the magnetic effect of electric current. These devices are heater, geyser, fuse, and many more. There are also some devices that can be related to the on.ly magnetic effect. These devices are cranes, electric bells, and many other devices. Therefore, it is clear to all that, in the context of a magnetic field, when the current of the circuit is reversed, the direction of the current would change as well as the direction of a magnetic field. This is the most effective thing in the magnetic effect of electric current.
