Excretory system plays an important role to maintain the balance of the body, and generally, excretory systems engage to reduce the wastes from the body, and there are the organs like kidney, ureter, urinary bladder and urethra etc. are included in the systems. In the present study, the importance, purpose and uses of the body have been analyzed and the importance of the excretory systems has also been developed in the present study.
What are excretory systems?
Excretory systems are considered one of the important systems in the human body which is related to the reduction of wastes from the human body to keep the body healthy and fine. There are 5 organs which are included in the excretory systems, and these are the kidney, ureter, urinary bladder and urethra, these are considered the main excretory systems. Besides, there are organs like liver, skin, large intestine, lungs and kidneys- are also considered the excretory systems of the human.
Human excretory systems basically help to remove the wastes from the body, and it is generally nitrogenous wastes from the body. Basically, excretion is a word which means throwing and separating the wastes, and there are different types of wastes that can be noticed in the human body. It is important to remove it for keeping and maintaining the health and toxic substances from cells and body has to be removed from the human body. Excretory systems of the human body help to keep the organs and body better.
Different parts of the excretory system
Organs | Roles |
A pair of Kidney | Kidney is considered one of the important and main organs of the human body and it helps to keep the balance of the human body. There are different types of wastes that can take place in the human body and for this reason, the kidney plays an important role to reduce wastes from the human body. Kidney removes acid from the body, and it helps to produce cells in it, so that the process of removing and separating wastes can be better. Besides, Kidney helps to keep a balance in the human body and maintain a healthy balance of water, salt, minerals like sodium, calcium etc. |
Urinary Bladder | Urinary bladder is a triangle-shaped bladder, which is in the lower abdomen of the human body. The bladder can relax and expand to keep urine in it. |
A pair of Ureter | Ureter is generally an organ which carries urine from kidneys to bladder and there are two ureters which are connected to two kidneys as well. |
Urethra | Urethra is considered one of the important organs of excretory systems and it is generally a tube-shaped organ. Generally, it helps to pass the urine to the outside from the human body. For this reason, the urine can be passed from the human body, and the muscles of the urethra are controlled by the brain. When the brain gives signals, the muscles of urethra can be tightened, and the urine can pass from it. |

Functions of excretory system
Excretory systems in the human body are one of the important organs in the human body which helps to maintain the balance of water in the human body. The body produces different types of wastes, and excretory systems of the body helps to manage the wastes and the wastes can be removed and controlled by the excretory organs of the human body.
The excretory systems in the human body helps to keep and control chemical composition of the body fluids and it helps to reduce metabolic wastes from the human body. It helps to keep the body healthier.
Steps involved in the process of excretion
Urine is the form of wastes which helps to remove the wastes from the body. The excretory system helps to control wastes of the body by producing urine in the human body. There are 3 steps that can be noticed which are related to ‘filtration, reabsorption and secretion.’
These are considered the basic steps to form urine in the human body, and it helps to filter the unwanted wastes from the blood and remove wastes through urine. For this reason, it can be said that, excretory systems are one of the important systems, which helps to maintain the body and its systems as well.
Conclusion
The present study concentrates on the excretory systems of the body, and it helps to remove the wastes from the body and make the busy healthy. Excretory systems are one of the important things in the human body, and it is important to maintain the body. In this chapter, the organs of excretory systems are mentioned as well as the roles of the organs have also been mentioned in the present study. It can be said that excretory systems are one of the most important systems to make our body healthy and strong.
