SSC stenographer salary
The commission determines the stenographers’ SSC pay. Given that they work for the administration, SSC stenographers receive competitive pay with room for advancement. Pay for SSC stenographers depends greatly on grade. The pay scale for stenographers in Grades C and D is subdivided by grade.
The current stenographer pay scale follows the 7th Pay Commission. Stenographers in Group “C” are hired with such a grade pay approximately 2400 rupees. The basic salary ranges from Rs. 5200 to Rs. 20200.
SSC stenographer salary structure
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) stenographers have been hired by the Indian gov’t’s numerous offices and agencies. The SSC Stenographer position has two grades:
- C grade stenographer
- D grade stenographer
Salaries of both the C grade stenographers and the D grade stenographers are different and the salary structure of both the C and D grade stenographers are given below:
Salary of grade C of stenographers:
Pay Scale = 9,300 – 34,800
Pay Band = 4,200 or 4,600 (Pay Grade 2)
Initial Salary = 5,200
SSC Stenographer standard Salary of Grade C is 14,500
Salary of grade D stenographers:
Pay Scale = 5,200 – 20,200
Pay Band = 2,400
Starting Salary = 5,200
SSC Stenographer standard Salary Grade D is 7,600
