Introduction

SSC or Staff Selection Commission carries out the SSC GD Constable Exam 2022 for filling out vacant posts such as CRPF, NIS BSF, Rifleman, CISF, etc. It should be noted that these posts are all general posts. SSC GD Eligibility Criteria 2022

For applying for the SSC GD post candidates have to fulfill several eligibility requirements The factors on which the eligibility of the SSC GD post exam depends have been outlined in the following.

Age Limit: For applying for the SSC GD post all candidates must be between the age of 18 years to 23 years.  Age Relaxation: We can see that age relaxation is not available for general candidates. However, age relaxation is available for only candidates who belong to the OBC/ SC/ Ex-serviceman/ ST and several other groups of people. For these categories, age relaxation is available for the upper age limit. These relaxations are provided in the following table.

Nationality: Among the various eligibility criteria for SSC GD post the nationality criteria is quite important. The nationality of the person applying for the must be Indian. Candidates who have migrated, need to submit UT or domicile or PRC against their state. 

SSC GD Educational Qualification Criteria

Among the several eligibility criteria to apply for the SSC GD post exam education qualification criteria has high importance. To apply for the SSC GD post for 2022 candidates must have the minimum qualification of at least a Matriculation pass or 10th Standard pass from any recognized board. If any candidates have not acquired this essential qualification then they are not eligible to apply for the post. 

SSC GD Physical Standard Criteria

Physical standard is a rather vital eligibility criterion for the SSC GD post. Candidates qualifying for the Test Based on Computer will then be shortlisted for the PST or PET which is carried out by the commission.
