From 05th July onwards till 2nd July 2022, the conduct of the SSC MTS 2022 Exam has been announced by the Staff Selection Commission, and the candidates must begin with the preparation if they haven’t yet. SSC MTS Exam Pattern

Candidates must be aware of the exam pattern for SSC MTS and prepare accordingly. Every year, SSC administers the SSC Multi-Tasking Staff Exam (MTS) in a variety of stages: 
  • Paper 1 (Objective test) 
  • Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test (only for Havaldar) 
  • Descriptive Test
Paper 1: The entire paper has 100 questions with 100 marks, and it must be finished in 90 minutes. The mode of conducting the SSC MTS Paper-I Exam online has multiple choice questions in sections: Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Aptitude, and General Awareness.

  • Both English and Hindi will be used to set the questions. 
  • There will be a 0.25 point deduction for each incorrect answer. 
  • Candidates with visual impairment and cerebral palsy have a 120-minute time limit.
After the qualification of Tier 1 of SSC MTS, the passed candidates will be required to appear for the Tier 2 exam. A descriptive paper will be conducted in Tier 2 through pen and paper. Candidates must prepare for SSC MTS Tier 2 beforehand instead of waiting for Tier 1 results.

Some Tips for Tier 2 Preparation 

  • Candidates must begin preparing by writing 2 to 3 essays referring to the correct format required for the exam.
  • The essay must follow a typical pattern that starts with a few lines of introduction, followed by the primary idea, positive and negative elements, and finally, the conclusion.
  • Write intriguing points, avoid repetition of the same issues and use quotations wherever necessary; it creates a good impact. However, don’t overpower it.
  • It is advisable not to divert from the topic.
