Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2022-23 Benefits
The Swami Vivekananda Scholarship was introduced by the West Bengal authorities. With the help of this scheme, those students who don’t have sufficient financial resources to pay their fees receive help. Scholars who belong to the economically Weaker Section of the society can take the benefit from this scheme. Students who are completing class 9th, 10th, 11th as well as 12th along with under-graduation and post-graduation are eligible for this scheme.
This scheme will help in providing quality education to the students. Also, this scheme will help in improving the literacy rate of the entire state. Not only this but the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship will help in establishing job opportunities.
Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2022-23 Eligibility Criteria
The State government of West Bengal provided this great opportunity to the students to help them in obtaining quality education. However, there’s an eligibility criteria that the students need to fulfill before they receive Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2022-23.
- The candidate should reside in West Bengal.
- For the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2022-23 for class 11 or the upper secondary level, the student must have obtained 75% in the Madhyamik Pariksha.
- For the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2022-23 for the postgraduate level, the student must have obtained at least 53% (general education) and 55%(engineering) in graduation.
- For the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2022-23 for the diploma (polytechnic level), the student must have obtained 75% of the course marks resulting in the first-year diploma.
- The student must have passed the upper secondary examination or equivalent with 75% of the marks for the diploma of 2 years in Modern Office Practice as well as the Management, Pharmacy, 3D Animation and the Graphics.
- For the Kanyashree students (K3 component), the students must have obtained a valid sanctioned K2 ID card. The scholars must have obtained a PG course in arts, science along with business. Also, the students must have obtained 45% in the graduation.
- The income certificate is considered to be very important for the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship. The student’s annual family income must not surpass 2.5 lakh.
Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2022-23 Documents required
- Madhyamik Examination or its equivalent marksheet (From both sides)
- Last board/Council/University/College examination marksheet (From both sides)
- Income certificate of the family (Not valid for Kanyashree Candidates)
- Domicile certificate as Aadhaar ID/Voter ID/Ration card/Certificate.
- Bank Passbook’s Scanned copy (1st Page, containing A/C No. and the IFSC code)

Swami Vivekananda Scholarship - Apply Online
Step 1: At first, go to the official website given above in the article to fill Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2022 Online Application.
Step 2: After that click on the “Fresh Registration” tab over there.
Step3: Now, you will get redirected to the svmcm.wbhed.gov.in/page/register.php.
Step 4: Then, read out some important instructions written there. And click on that box.
Step 5: After this, you have to click on the Scholarship link given there as per the eligibility criteria.
Step 6: Now, fill in all necessary details correctly and move forward.
Step 7: Now, click on the Submit button given there.
