E Kalyan Scholarship 2022
The E-Kalyan Scholarship program is launched by the Government of Jharkhand and these scholarships are meant to support the education of underprivileged students who are domiciles of Jharkhand and Bihar. It is regulated by the E-Kalyan portal of Jharkhand and Bihar. This scholarship is for students who have passed 10th grade. The application for the scholarship will commence on 1st September 2022. Further, the written exam will be on the 24th of September 2022. The result will be issued on the basis of the student’s marks.
This scholarship has a special advantage for SC/ST category girls, etc. It also supports the students who are officially weak and can’t afford the expenses of their studies. The Government runs so many schemes similar to this, candidates interested can check these by visiting the official portal. The students can apply for this scholarship through online mode.
Both Bihar and Jharkhand scholarship portals have a common name that is E-Kalyan. It also has a common objective that provides a transparent, accountable and student-oriented platform at the state level. The E-Kalyan Scholarship program includes other schemes like Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana, Post-Matric scholarship scheme, etc. All the scholarship schemes listed at E-Kalyan portal are administered by the Department of Social Welfare, Department of Education, Department of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Welfare and others.

E Kalyan Jharkhand Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
While applying for the E-Kalyan Scholarship 2022 there are some criteria that need to be fulfilled by the candidate. The eligibility criteria are mandatory and the students need to read it carefully and follow the rules that are mentioned below-
The candidate should belong of must be a resident of Jharkhand
- The candidates from SC/ST/ BC caste can only apply
- The income should be as per required by the criteria that are-
- For scheduled tribe and scheduled caste their annual income should be less than 2,50,000 Rs
- Backward class income should be less than 1,50,000 Rs are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Candidates who are not coming under these criteria cannot apply.
- If the income of these categories is more than the prescribed, then they can’t apply.
