CSIR NPL
CSIR NPL stands for CSIR national physical laboratory which is situated in India and has its headquarters In New Delhi. It is a laboratory in India that is known for doing the standard measurement. The work of the CSIR NPL is to maintain the slandered of different SI units which are commonly used in ideas and it also calibrates the national standard weights
CSIR- national physical laboratory (NPL) situated in Delhi is a premier laboratory that is run by the council of industrial research and was established by the government under the act of the parliament.
NPL Technician Age Limit
The age limit which is mentioned by the authority for sitting for the NPL technician exam is 28 years as of 2022 3rd July. And there is also an age relaxation of 5 years given for the scheduled castes and for the other backward classes the age relaxation is for 3 years.
Salary for CSIR NPL Technician Job
The general pay scale which is given for the recruitment of CSIR national physical laboratory ranges from the job category and it is different for the different job positions
- Overall for the post of technician, the pay scale ranges from as low as 19900/- to as high as 63200/- according to the conditions and departmental norms.
CSIR Technician Eligibility Criteria
The candidates willing to apply for the recruitment process have to go through the details mentioned regarding the eligibility criteria before applying. If the applicants are not meeting the criteria will get out of the list of applicants.
The criteria required are as follows:
- The applying candidate should have passed SSC having science as a subject along with 55% of marks in the result and a total of 3 years working experience in departmental organizations.
- Or the applying candidate should have passed SSC having science as a subject along with 55% of marks in result and total of 2-year experience as a trainee in the relevant sector.
CSIR NPL Technician Selection Process
The selection process for the NPL technician is divided into 3 parts. The three parts are mentioned below:
- The candidate who is qualified with the eligibility criteria are shortlisted and then the candidates are called for the first step which is the written examination. The candidates are required to study for the 3 papers which include the mental ability exam, general awareness exam, exam for English and the exam for the concerned subject.
- The second part is the trade test which is a part of the curriculum
- The third part is the document verification step in which the candidates are required to submit the necessary documents and which is further verified by the higher authority.
CSIR NPL Technician Examination Pattern
There are a total of three papers in which the exam is conducted for the recruitment purpose
- The first subject is the test for mental ability which comprises the test for general intelligence, general reasoning, solving problems, and judgemental situations dealing. And the total hours allotted for the paper I exam is one hour and the marks for which the paper is conducted is 100. Each question has a weightage of two marks so the total number of questions is 50 and it doesn’t have any negative marking.
- Paper 2 comprises two subjects which are English and general awareness and the total hours’ allotted to the paper I exam is 30 mines and the marks for which the paper is conducted is a total of 150 out of which 75 are for English and 75 for general awareness. A total of 3 marks is given for each correct answer and in this paper, a negative marking is given for any wrong answers which is 1
- And at last, the paper 3 is for the concerned subject and the total hours which is allotted foot the solving of the paper is one hour and the total marks which the paper is conducted are 150 in which each question has a weightage of 3 marks so the total number of questions is 50 and it has a negative marking of 1 for giving any wrong answer.
