Medals for India in the Commonwealth Games 2022
India has concluded its amazing performance at the Commonwealth Games with a total of 61 medals, which puts it in the fourth position in the overall medal count. India was awarded 23 silver, 16 bronze along with 22 gold medals.
The total number of medals this time was impressive. But due to a lack of shooting which was a sport, it won in 2018, and India missed an opportunity to do better. India’s medal haul could have been higher if archery and shooting sports had been included in the program where India dominates in a Commonwealth.
