The Central Bureau of Investigation popularly known as the CBI is the job post concerned with the Central Government of India. Thus, the recruitment for the post is done by the central government of the country. In the year 2022, the CBI of the Central Bureau of Investigation has planned to invite applications for the Law Internship Scheme that is to be launched by the agency. CBI is the central agency for enquiring the cases related to corruption and crime given to it by the Government of India. It works under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions under the Government of India. In recent years, CBI has done enquiry of many famous and controversial cases and came to conclusion successfully. To get a job in this adventurous agency is the dream of many government job aspirants.
The program demands the hiring of the law students of India as interns pertaining to different law schools across the country. The candidates who get selected will be deputed to various branches of CBI or the Central Bureau of Investigation located in the different parts of the country. The investigation agency holds its branches in Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Bangalore (Karnataka), Kolkata (West Bengal), and Mumbai (Maharashtra) and in the National Capital of India, Delhi.
The interns selected for the internship program need to abide by the analysis process of the agency by collecting and collating relevant in-house data and other information. The selected intern students may find an opportunity to experience and witness the day-to-day operations of the CBI that may turn out to be beneficial from the perspective of their career.
CBI Recruitment 2022 - Eligibility Criteria
The following are the criteria of eligibility the candidates should satisfy in order to successfully qualify for the internship program conducted by the Central Bureau of Investigation.
- The applying candidate must belong to the country of India. That is the candidate must be a citizen of the country of India.
- The candidate should be pursuing the education of Law from a reputed University of Law in the medium of English.
- The candidate who is applying should be pursuing an integrated LLB course of 05 years and must have completed the first four years of the course.
CBI Recruitment 2022 - Application Fees
To apply for the law internship conducted by the Central Bureau of Investigation or the CBI the candidate needs to send their original applications. A copy of their detailed bio-data should be attached as per the given format in the Pro-forma (Annexure-A). Also, a one hundred- and fifty-words long SOP or Statement of Purpose is needed to be attached. It should contain the reason as to why they want to join the program. It should be sent to Superintendent of Police (Training) CBI Academy, Hapur Rd, Kamla Nehru Nagar, Ghaziabad, UP – 201002. It should reach on or before 16-06-2022. The applications that reach late or are incomplete will be subject to rejection. The application fee to apply for this internship program is Nil.
CBI Recruitment 2022 Vacancy Details
A total of 30 candidates will be selected for the program internship and the tenure of the internship will be anywhere between 90 days to 180 days.
