NEET PG Vacancies

The NEET PG 2022 application form will be available from the first week of February 2022. There is no age limit for candidates who wish to apply for NEET PG 2022. In total, there are approximately 42,717 postgraduate medical seats which are divided among various Indian states.

The NEET vacancies depend on the medical colleges and universities. These are modified every year.

NEET PG 2021 Counselling 

• Candidates will be invited for NEET PG Counselling 2021 on the basis of their rank in the entrance exam 
• NEET PG 2021 counselling will take place online
• Candidates who will qualify will have to achieve a minimum cut off percentile.
• Once the registration facility is available, they can register with the counselling bodies
• Counselling will be held in four rounds – round 1 and 2 followed by a mop-up round, and stray vacancy round
• Candidates will get their seats via NEET PG Counselling 2021
• Candidates have to report to the assigned college within the time frame stated for admission
• Candidates have to carry self-declaration, eligibility criteria, original documents, etc, for verification according to specified norms of the respective colleges

Counselling tentative schedule –  NEET PG 2021 

• Commencement of NEET PG 2021 Counselling – Jan 12, 2022 onwards 
• Round one for the NEET PG 2021 counselling – January 12 to January 17, 2022
• Selection & Lock-in College preferences – January 13 to January 17, 2022
• Verification of candidates by respective institutes – January 18-19, 2022
• Seat allotment result for NEET PG 2021 round one counselling – January 22, 2022
• Second round of online registration for NEET PG 2021 counselling – February 3 to 7, 2022
• Release of seat allotment list – February 12, 2022
• Online registration for NEET PG 2021 counselling for third round – February 24 to 28, 2022
• Announcement of seat allotment list – March 5, 2022
• Stray vacancy round – 11-16 March, 2022

The following documents must be submitted for counselling:

• Score card or result card for NEET PG 2021
• Completion certificate of internship
• Photo identity proof (Driving licence/Voter ID, Passport, Aadhar/PAN)
• Degree or Provisional certificate of MBBS 
• OPH/OBC/ST/SC certificate (if applicable)
• Professional or permanent certificate of registration which is issued by MCI 
• Date of Birth/Higher secondary/High school certificate as birth date proof
• Mark sheet of MBBS
