The NEET PG result will be announced on the official website only. Here are a few important points that candidates must be aware of-

2. Date of declaration of results: NEET-PG 2022 result will be released on March 31, 2022. It will be available on the website of NBEMS.
3. Using their login credentials, candidates can download their scorecards from the NBEMS website.
4. There will be no re-evaluation/ re-checking/ re-totalling of the responses marked by the candidate.
5. Validity of NEET PG 2022 Result-
a. The result of NEET PG 2022 will be valid only for the current admission session i.e. 2022 for admission in MD/MS/PG Diploma courses.
6. Tiebreaker criteria- If two or more applicants have the same score, the merit position will be determined using the tie-breaker in descending order:
a. Candidates with a higher number of right answers on the question paper would be given a higher merit score.
b. Applicants with fewer negative responses on the question paper will be ranked higher on the merit scale.
c. Older candidates will be put in a higher merit position.
d. Candidates who obtain higher overall (percentage) marks in all MBBS Professional Examinations will be put in a higher merit position.
7. Publication of merit lists-
a. NEET-PG 2022 rank: This is the candidate’s overall merit position among all of the candidates who took the NEET-PG 2022 exam.
b. All India 50% quota rank: This is the candidate’s rank among all applicants who have taken the NEET-PG 2022 and are qualified for All India 50% quota counselling. It is valid just for All India 50% quota MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses (2022 admission session).
c. All India 50% quota Category Rank: This is the candidate’s overall merit position in the category (OBC/SC/ST/EWS), as chosen by the candidate in NEET–PG 2022 among candidates in the same categories who are suitable for All India 50% quota counselling, and is relevant only for All India 50% quota MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses (Admissions session 2022).
8. Result for all India 50% quota seats:
a. NEET-PG 2022 results will be released on March 31, 2022. Candidates can download the mark sheet-cum-result certification for NEET PG 2022 – All India 50% Quota from the website, after the declaration of the result.
b. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria provided by the counselling authority for All India 50% Quota seats will be able to participate in the counselling for All India 50% Quota.
c. Candidates who qualify for NEET PG 2022, but aren’t eligible for counselling for the All India 50% quota (as per the eligibility criteria set by the designated counselling authority), are considered for State quota seats and counselling as per the applicable regulations, applicable guidelines, qualifying criteria and state reservation policies.
d. Candidates who score below the 50th percentile in NEET-PG 2022 (40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC (Including PWD of SC/ST/OBC) and 45th percentile for UR PWD candidates) will not be deemed eligible for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses, and no merit position or rank will be assigned to them.
e. A person with benchmark disabilities (as defined by the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016) needs to score a minimum 45th percentile in the General category and 40th percentile in SC/ST/OBC category, to be eligible for admission to PG courses.
f. Centres for issuing PWD certificates: 15 centres are identified for issuing PwD certificates to claim for 5% PwD reservation in medical courses in 50 % of All India Quota/Central Universities.
9. Result for state quota seats:
a. The merit list of NEET-PG will be used to fill state quota seats in all medical institutions in a state, as well as seats in institutions established by the state government, universities established by an Act of the State/Union Territory Legislature, Company, Municipal Bodies Trust, Society, or Minority Institutions. No state government, private medical college, or university shall hold an admission exam on their own.
b. NBEMS will provide the data of candidates and their scores in NEET-PG 2022 to the designated counselling authority. It will not apply the eligibility criteria, reservation and other criteria of the concerned states. The designated agency/authority of the concerned States/UTs/ concerned authority shall determine/generate state quota rank, state category rank, the benefit for in-service candidates, rural posting (if applicable), and so on, in line with the rules, eligibility criteria, instructions, and reservation policies.
c. The merit list for any State quota seats, Private Medical Colleges, or Universities will not be prepared by NBEMS.
d. The Designated Counselling Authority for State Quota Seats is being asked to develop customised application forms to determine candidates’ eligibility for state quota seats depending on relevant eligibility criteria, benefit to in-service candidates, reservation policies, and advantage to candidates who have served in rural or difficult areas.
e. Because NBEMS does not ensure the data offered by candidates during the online submission of an application form, the candidature will be regarded as provisional unless they meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the NEET-PG 2022 Information Bulletin as well as the criteria of the State/Universities/Institutions concerned.
f. Candidates must confirm with their respective State Governments/UTs if they will be accepted for admission to the State Quota Post Graduate seats/Institute Pool depending upon the appropriate regulation and/or domicile criteria, State/Institute of Graduation, reservation policy, and other factors. Just passing the NEET PG 2022 does not qualify a candidate for State Quota Seats/admission to Private Universities & Institutes.
