NEET PG Counselling 2023 Latest News: The NEET PG 2023 Counselling schedule has been released by the Medical Counselling Committee. Registration will commence on July 27 and will remain open until noon on August 1. The choice filling can be done from July 28 to August 2, and the results of the first-round seat allocation will be announced on August 5, 2023.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the NEET PG 2023 Counselling dates on July 20, 2023.

NEET PG is conducted by NBE for admission to different medical courses like MS, MD, and PG Diploma in Medicine. MCC conducts NEET PG Counselling for seat allotment in deemed, central universities, and 50 percent AIQ (All India Quota) seats. The state counselling authorities conduct counselling sessions for the remaining 50 percent of All India Quota seats. 

NEET PG 2023 Updates

According to the timetable, the registration for round 1 of NEET PG counselling 2023 will commence on July 27, 2023. The MCC NEET PG Counselling 2023 is organized for MD/ MS/ PG Diploma/ PG DNB seats of All India Quota/ Central University/ Deemed University admissions.

The dates for the 2023  NEET PG Counselling will be notified online. Candidates who clear NEET PG with a minimum cut-off percentile are eligible for this allotment process.

From July 27, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will initiate the registration process for the round 1 NEET PG 2023 counselling, specifically for the 50% All India Quota seats. What is mop up round in NEET PG Counselling?

The Mop Up round in NEET PG Counselling refers to the seat allotment process in medical colleges by states for the reverted seats from the All India 15% quota. This round is specifically for candidates who did not secure seats in the first and second rounds. It does not apply to candidates who have already been allocated seats.

Step 1: Registration

  • Visit the official website of MCC- www.mcc.nic.in
  • Click on PG Medical Counselling
  • Register using a valid email ID and mobile number
  • Note down the login credentials
  • Login again to fill out the application form
  • Enter personal and academic details
  • Click on submit

Step 2: Payment of Registration fee

  • Pay the registration fee. The fee will not be refunded
  • Make the security deposit. The security deposit will be refunded
  • Payments can be made online only using Net banking/ credit card/ debit card

NEET PG Counselling for State Quota Seats

The counselling for the remaining 50 percent of state quota seats is conducted by respective state authorities. This process in states is conducted only after the declaration of NEET PG results by the NBE (National Board of Examination). Counselling in the states fills up 50 percent of seats in medical colleges and 100 percent of seats in private state colleges.
