JEE Advanced Tie-Breaking Rule 2023
If 2 or more candidates score equal marks in the JEE Advanced 2023 test, then the exam conducting authority will follow the below-mentioned tie-breaking criteria to determine the candidate’s rank-
- In case of a tie, those candidates who have the higher positive marks in the exam will be given a higher rank.
- If a tie still exists, then the candidate with more scores in Maths will be awarded a higher mark.
- If the tie still exists, then the candidate with more scores in Physics will be awarded a higher mark.
- If the tie still exists, then the candidate will be awarded the same rank as they got in the JEE Advanced rank.
