Water flows horizontally from a certain height in a waterfall. It cascades down in the shape of a single sharp drop or a succession of them. Waterfalls may range greatly in both breadth and depth. When a stream and river pouring into a glacier keeps flowing into the valley after it has retreated or melted, it can form waterfalls along the glacial crib’s edge. 1. Shivanasamudra Falls
Shivasamudram Falls, located in Madhya District, Karnataka, split into two branches: the eastern and the western. These waterfalls, which tumble down stony cliffs, are covered in a rich variety of flora and wildlife thanks to the hill forests of the Cauvery Wildlife Sanctuary.
