List Of Railways Ministers Of India: 1947-2022

In the Central Government, the Minister of Railways, holds Cabinet rank. The first Indian Minister of Railways was Asaf Ali.  He served in the position from  2 September 1946 to 14 August 1947 September 1946 to 14 August 1947; he served in the position. Even though India was still under British rule at the time, the position of railways minister had not been adequately delineated.

The Railway Ministry was led by the Minister of Rail before. Ashwini Vaishnav is now India’s minister of railways.Before then, the minister was Piyush Goyal.
