1. India was the first T20 World Cup winner in 2007
In 2007, the Indian cricket team became the first to win and retain the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. The competition was held in South Africa. India hit the field with many fresh faces, and MS Dhoni was tasked with captaining the team.
